Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1986, Poppy Hills was the first course in the U.S. owned and operated by an amateur golf association (the Northern California Golf Association). Tucked into the Del Monte Forest along 17-Mile Drive, it co-hosted the PGA TOUR's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am from 1991–2009 alongside Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill.

🏛️ By the Numbers: A $10 million renovation in 2014 by RTJ Jr. stretched the course past 7,000 yards, softened the doglegs, and stripped out the rough — earning "Best Renovation" honors that year from all four major golf publications.
